Art Critic Joan Lluís Montané introduces Aurora Mazzoldi's Romantic Perception

Aurora Mazzoldi , romanticism and true perception

Aurora Mazzoldi is on a romantic search for the fundamentals of love. Her splendid mastery in drawing and blending color, allows her to get different spaces in her composition. She works with acrylic on canvas, painting a symphony of field segments that she organizes into a single, evident, common framework. Her characters are dreamy, very sensitive; they are filled with beauty, greatness of soul and love. They suggest peace and they are interconnected through an invisible thread of subtle, all pervading energy. There is no sexual stimulation, her themes are romantic. The subject of her paintings is love in capital letters, love that is not related to any bodily desire. She looks, in a subtle way, for the meaning of life and she represents it in a harmonious world, where feminine figures, children, boys and girls, the woman, appear all together in scenes of great intensity.Drawing and details contribute remarkably to a composition where subjects stand out. They are indeed part of a reality that the artist amplifies, mythicizes, with the aim of representing scenes that show everyday life, but without ever becoming ordinary.
