On art magazines (Jean-Jacques )

Very questionable artists get published and praised, even by important art magazines, together with some Masters (mainly deceased).
I agree they pay for it. However, when I read magniloquent words and absurd interpretations of some ugly doodle, then I wonder if the art world has become something for charlatans, for the ones who can pay or for simple-minded people.
Who can prove me wrong?
